Mark has doctoral training in epidemiology from the University of Washington, and a master’s degree in cell and molecular biology from the University of Pennsylvania. He is intimately involved in all scientific strategy, statistical analysis, and scientific writing work on Hensley Biostats projects.

Outside of his work on client projects, Mark is an accomplished classical pianist and piano teacher, an avid mountaineer and skier, and a writer of both fiction and nonfiction.
